Newsletter #133 : How can you build new habits effectively ?

Habits are the foundation on which our lives are built. It is almost an automatic response that you will have without even thinking about it. It also determines the quality of your life. How can you learn to develop habits that can make your life better?

  • The first step is to start small, by trying to commit yourself to a simple task or action for twenty-one days in a row. You must also try your best not to break the habit, even if it is difficult at times, because this can be very hard but worth it in the end.
  • The second step is to find out what triggers you into doing what you want and then figuring out how to trigger that behavior. This is typically done by making a list of the things that make you feel good. It’s important to think about the things that make you feel bad as well because those are also really useful tools for influencing your life.
