What are the different ways you can try to deal with your emotions?

One way to deal with your emotions is to process them. You can process your emotions by writing about what you feel, talking about what you feel with someone you trust or listening to an audio recording of yourself sharing what you feel.

Another option is to distract yourself from the feeling. This may be helpful if the feeling is causing physical pain, or if it’s just too hard to process at that moment. You can distract yourself by doing something that takes up all of your attention, like watching TV, reading a book, or playing on your phone. Distracting yourself can give you some time away from the difficult feelings and help you deal with them later on.

Why are some unhealthy foods energizing?

It is important to be mindful of what foods we eat to keep our energy levels high and avoid lethargy.

Some examples of unhealthy foods that are energizing are doughnuts, cookies, desserts, chocolate bars, and coffee.

Such energizing foods are usually high in sugar, fat, or caffeine. People eat these types of food because they feel that it gives them a burst of energy to help them concentrate on completing their tasks.

That said, it’s important not to go overboard with foods that are loaded with sugar or contain too much fruit can actually contribute to fatigue as these foods spike blood sugar levels rapidly followed by a crash.
