Newsletter #114 : The art of letting go.

We often tell ourselves that letting go is forgetting, but that’s not the truth. Letting go is remembering without fear or pain.

Life is not meant to be lived on pause. We are constantly growing and evolving, which means we are always letting go of something old in order to make space for something new. Yet, oftentimes this process can feel like the end of the world—or at least the end of our world as we knew it– because we are leaving behind things that were once life-defining for us.

Learn to let go of what you can’t control and remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember the good times, but don’t forget to be afraid of the future. Remember that without moving forward, you’ll never be able to look back on what you’ve accomplished.

To the world, you may be just one person, but to one person you may be their world.

Then, without realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start of each new day; of course, you achieve quite a lot in the course of time. Anyone can do this, it costs nothing and is certainly very helpful. Whoever doesn’t know it must learn and find by experience that a quiet conscience makes one strong.
